Forgive me if this has been asked before, I can only find some tangentially related posts. My issue is that if I try to set a rule that "kind" "is" and select "other", Hazel immediately changes that last part from "other" to "document" or sometimes "text".

I want to be able to find and act on only OmniOutliner documents and I just cannot fathom why it isn't letting me.

Any ideas, please?

What version of Hazel are you running? Can you record a video of this happening?

Sorry for the delay: I was expecting to be notified when there were any replies. Thanks for asking: I'm on Hazel 5.1.1.

Here's a two-second video of it happening: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/dux3a5yy ... 7fqd9&dl=0

Thanks again,
William

5.1.1 is a bit old. Try updating to 5.3.4. Note that the in-app updater is broken on 5.1.1 in which case I suggest downloading and installing the update manually.

Oh! Thanks: it kept telling me I was on the latest version and I didn't think to doubt it.

I'll update right now. Much appreciated.

And that has fixed my problem: thank you enormously.
