I have two questions related to how Hazel's "Delete Files in Trash ...." option works.

1) Is there a way have a specific folder skipped and not deleted? Can I lock it or in any prevent it from being moved to the trash?
2) I would like that to also apply to any files in that folder, ie they would be skipped.

I realize I could turn that preference off and handle it myself with specific rule but I wanted to check and see if I can rely on the preference first.

"Delete files in trash" only refers to files already in the Trash. Anything that is locked can't be moved or deleted.

Whether files in a folder are affected depends on how you set things up. You'll need to provide a lot more specific details.
